Global Business Ministries is an International ministry organization whose headquarters is in Johannesburg, South Africa, where the founders, Apostles Les and Daphne Crause, live.
The main purpose and goal of all ministry carried out by GBM International is to show believers the pattern for the new church that God is building in these end times in which we live.
To accomplish this, we offer training to believers at all levels, with our specialty being the training of the Fivefold Ministry. Apostles and Prophets, especially, need to be made aware of the times in which we live and what the Church should look like.
This new church will offer opportunities for every believer at all levels to carry out their God-given calling and ministry assignments. The existing Status Quo Church clearly lacks this. Most churches are based on a pattern where leaders only do ministry.
GBMI was started unconventionally: using only the Internet, it reached out to believers of all nations. Online training schools were set up that drew students from many different countries. At the time, Les and Daphne were living in Mexico, and from there, they reached out to the world.
Although students came from around the globe, many came from the USA since it was close by. Many believers from the USA attended the first live meetings presented in conferences and seminars. And they tended to make up the bulk of our students.
As these students were trained and rose up in the Fivefold Ministry, it became necessary for training to be done in live classrooms. This was first done in South Africa after Les and Daphne returned to their homeland. They had lived for 17 years in a foreign country and built an online presence from there using only the Internet.
The language barrier and the difficulty of finding Mexican believers who spoke English made live training difficult there. So, when they returned to South Africa, Les and Daphne began training in live classes for the first time. However, they continued to still do training in online schools.
Many of those who were trained and rose up into the Prophetic and Apostolic Office moved into their own ministries in their respective countries. For a season, leaders from several countries looked to Les and Daphne as spiritual parents, and many still do. But they were given the freedom to establish their own ministries without obligation to GBMI.
However, some continued to support and stand with us, and they became affiliate ministries to GBMI. Amongst these, from the USA, comes Mark Stalnaker, who became an active financial supporter of the work and was ready to help in any way he could. Although trained online, Mark came to visit us in South Africa, and while here, the Lord showed that he was ready to enter the Apostolic Office.
Mark has studied everything we teach, and he has a heart very much like ours. He has a desire to see believers come to a full understanding of the Grace of God. And he wants to be part of building the new church on the pattern that God has shown.
Therefore, the time has come for Global Business Ministries to become firmly established in the United States, and we are ready now to build our first live branch of this ministry in the USA. We know of no one more qualified to do this than Mark Stalnaker and we want to welcome him to the GBM Family of Ministries.
Mark currently lives in Florida, where he will be available to receive anyone visiting from around the country. He will begin developing this branch of GBM online and then move on to setting up live classes and fellowships as the work grows.
